By default, Flarum doesn't support private groups, but I think I'm figuring out how to do it with tags and extensions. I made two groups. Check out the site before joining a group. Then, after you've looked around, join one, and you should be able to see that group's posts.

Late reply, but yes I can see the posts, it just doesn't show up under private discussions (I guess an admin has to mark those?), which is a little confusing.

testguy can't make private discussions. Current settings allow only admins?

testguy Right, but I'm pretty sure the settings can be changed, but in any event, private discussions don't go by group. They go by user(s) invited.

I think this works pretty good - definitely better than Discourse in my opinion. It's got WSIWYG and it's much clearer how to just see your own LM group. Honestly I don't know that we need to worry about tags for the week that much. We could just simply ask people to put that in the title of their post each time. That way the platform is simplified - you just simply post in your group and you always post with a title that says "{NAME} Report for {DATE}" or something like that. Nice and simple. And then people can reply beneath them

ctanthny Private posts are a separate thing. I could get rid of it, but it's for small group private discussions. And you're right, right now, only admins can start them, but that can be changed. I'm just experimenting around with the various plugins.
